My creative journey began in the dynamic world of magazines, where I spent more than ten years crafting layouts and narratives, as the Art Director at Cosmopolitan India. Those years sharpened my eye, disciplined my aesthetic, and instilled in me an uncompromising respect for detail. In 2017, I followed an inner calling to create something deeply personal—PaperLove was born. What began as a passion soon became a canvas for my belief that paper can hold emotion, intention, and beauty.
Today, I design bespoke stationery and paper goods—from thoughtfully crafted gift tags to soul-soothing gratitude journals—each piece created with precision, warmth, and quiet elegance. I am driven by a pursuit of perfection and an almost meditative attention to the minutest details.
Every line, texture, and tone is considered, refined, and infused with meaning. Through PaperLove, I strive to transform everyday paper into objects of lasting grace—designed not just to be seen, but to be felt.

Shivali Shakdher
Design, for me, has always been about emotion, restraint, and the quiet power of details. I’m Shivali Shakdher, a New Delhi–based graphic designer with over 20 years of experience and a career shaped by the editorial world, including a decade as Art Director at Cosmopolitan India.
In 2017, I created PaperLove as an extension of my aesthetic philosophy—where paper becomes personal and design becomes intimate. Every piece I create is thoughtfully crafted, guided by precision, patience, and a relentless pursuit of perfection. I believe the smallest details often speak the loudest.
